Driver and General hand Position – Part-time/Casual (MIB Banjima Traditional Owners Support)

Location: Belmont

Hours: Monday, Wednesday & Friday – 6:00 am to 2:00 pm

Employment Type: Casual (3 days per week)

About the Role

White Springs is seeking a reliable and community-minded driver to transport Indigenous Traditional Owners to and from medical appointments, meetings, and other activities as required. This position plays a key role in supporting our members' wellbeing and engagement in community and cultural matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport passengers to scheduled appointments and meetings.
  • Ensure vehicles are kept clean, serviced, and well maintained.
  • Provide respectful and culturally sensitive assistance to passengers.
  • Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and vehicle checks.
  • Communicate effectively with the White Springs Office regarding scheduling and any issues.
  • General upkeep of grounds at our accommodation facility.
  • Additional overtime as required.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A current C-Class driver's licence.
  • A reliable, punctual, and safety-focused work ethic.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A caring and professional approach when assisting passengers.
  • An understanding and respect for Aboriginal culture and community values.
  • Current First Aid certificate and Working With Children Check / National Police Clearance.
