PR & Marketing Manager – South Indian Restaurant Chain

Locations: Sydney, Melbourne & other metro areas (multi-site role across 6+ outlets in Australia)

Employment Type: Full-time, Ongoing (minimum 38 hours per week)

Salary Range: AUD $75,000 – $95,000 + superannuation

Kolapasi is a well-established Indian restaurant group operating 6 outlets across Australia, specialising in South Indian cuisine. We are seeking a qualified and experienced PR & Marketing Manager (ANZSCO – Advertising, Public Relations and Sales Managers) to lead our advertising, public relations, and marketing activities across Australia

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and evaluate advertising, PR, and marketing strategies across all outlets.
  • Plan and coordinate market research and analyse customer trends.
  • Manage digital campaigns, community engagement, and media relationships.
  • Promote authenticity of South Indian cuisine through targeted campaigns and festival promotions.
  • Direct and control branding, budget allocation, and campaign execution.
  • Represent the business at community/cultural events and media functions.

Skills & Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Marketing, Communications, Business, or Hospitality (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in marketing/PR, preferably within hospitality.
  • Demonstrated expertise in South Indian cuisine, festivals, and cultural promotion.
  • Strong skills in digital marketing, social media, PR, and campaign management.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Terms of Employment:

  • Full-time ongoing position, 38 hours per week.
  • Salary between AUD $75,000 – $95,000 per annum plus superannuation.
