About the role

We are seeking passionate, dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our team at Kindred Support Pty Ltd in Wodonga, VIC. This is a part-time or casual opportunity to support individuals with disabilities and help them live independently and participate actively in the community.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing personalised support and assistance to clients in their homes and in the community
  • Helping participants with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
  • Accompanying participants to appointments, social activities, and community events
  • Promoting participants independence, choice, and social inclusion
  • Maintaining detailed client records and contributing to the development of participants support plans
  • Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

What we're looking for

  • A Certificate III or IV in Disability, Aged Care, or a related field (or willingness to obtain)
  • Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities, either in a paid or voluntary capacity
  • A genuine passion for supporting and empowering people with disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a non-judgmental attitude
  • A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • A current First Aid Certificate and Police Check
