CODA is a new 40 seat neighbourhood wine bar and café opening soon in Chermside, and we're building something special Inspired by the easy rhythm of Italian bars, CODA is a place to gather and enjoy simple pleasures and sometimes indulge in something special, delivered by people who love what they do.

By day, our menu offers fresh, deli-style bites, light meals and house-baked treats; by early evening, it evolves into thoughtful seasonal dishes made for sharing and grazing. With more than 30 wines available by the glass, alongside a curated list of cocktails and spirits, CODA is about celebrating both the everyday and the extraordinary.

We're creating a venue where staff are valued and guests feel at home, whether it's your morning coffee, a quick midweek lunch or dinner, a night out with friends and family, one of our special events, or a champagne toast to life's milestones. And we're looking for team members who want to be part of shaping that experience from the very beginning.

We are looking for a full-time Bartender to help shape the bar program at CODA. While wine is at the heart of our venue, we want our cocktails – both spirited and non-alcoholic – to feel just as exciting and considered. This role is perfect for someone who can draw from the classics but loves experimenting with seasonal ingredients and techniques to craft drinks that feel elevated yet approachable. You'll be responsible for running smooth bar service, creating and refining our cocktail list , and ensuring every guest – no matter what's in their glass, has a memorable experience.

• Experience in a similar role.
• Experience working in wine service will be highly regarded.
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails and cocktail making techniques.
• Creativity and technical skill in designing new cocktails, including non-alcoholic options for a rotating seasonal menu.
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to assist the wider team as needed to deliver a seamless guest experience.
