About the role
The purpose of this role is to deliver Azure Integration Services engineering and consulting expertise to TL Consulting's clients and partners within the Professional Services team. The role focuses on designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-grade integration solutions on Microsoft Azure.
Responsibilities
- Technical Consulting – provide Azure integration expertise for clients, focusing on solution design, migration, and optimization.
- Azure Integration Development – build and support integration solutions using services such as Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, Functions, and Data Factory.
- Solution Architecture & POCs – deliver design proof of concepts (POCs) and integration patterns for hybrid and cloud-native applications.
- Automation & CI/CD – design and implement CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions) for integration deployments.
- Cloud Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – provision and manage integration environments using tools such as ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
- API Management – design, secure, and publish APIs for internal and external consumption, applying policies and governance.
- Integration Testing – test, debug, and troubleshoot Azure-based integrations ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Monitoring & Support – implement monitoring and alerting for integration solutions using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
- Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing – contribute to integration best practices, documentation, and mentoring within the Professional Services team.
- Continuous Learning & Innovation – stay up to date with Azure Integration Services advancements and actively present findings to the team.
Skills & Experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
Mandatory Skills
- 3–6 years of software development/integration experience.
- Strong development skills in C# / .NET for integration solutions and custom connectors.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, API Management, Azure Functions, Data Factory).
- Good understanding of REST & SOAP APIs including JSON and XML payloads.
- Experience working with Git-based source control (Azure Repos, GitHub).
- Familiarity with SQL Server or Azure SQL Database for integration-related workloads.
- Strong communicator with proven ability to deliver outcomes for clients.
- Experience designing and delivering integration solutions in an enterprise environment.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Azure DevOps (pipelines, repos, boards) or GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform).
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and agile delivery practices.
- Understanding of integration patterns (publish/subscribe, request/response, event-driven).
- Background in quality engineering including automated testing of APIs and integrations.
