Position Title: Full-Time Cleaner
Reports To: Area Manager / Site Supervisor
Location: Inner metropolitan Adelaide
Hours: Full-Time (38 hours per week). Daytime Hours.

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across our facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for employees, visitors, and clients. This role requires a proactive approach to managing cleaning tasks, attention to detail, and adherence to company protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Cleaning: Perform routine cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, break rooms, and public spaces.
  • Sanitization: Regularly disinfect high-touch surfaces, such as doorknobs, light switches, and shared equipment, to ensure a hygienic environment.
  • Waste Management: Empty and dispose of waste and recycling materials in accordance with site and environmental guidelines.
  • Floor Care: Vacuum, sweep and mop floors as required, paying attention to safety and slip-resistant practices.
  • Restocking Supplies: Ensure adequate supplies of cleaning products and restroom essentials; report shortages to the Supervisor.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Safely operate and maintain cleaning equipment and report any malfunctions to the supervisor.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations; report any hazards or unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
  • Customer Service: Provide friendly and professional service when interacting with employees, visitors, and clients.

Requirements

  • Experience: Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
  • Physical Ability: Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 10 kg, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Skills: Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, including the safe handling of cleaning chemicals; attention to detail.
  • Working rights: Must have full time working rights in Australia.
  • Availability: Flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekend shifts as needed.
  • Clear National Police Check

  • Reliability: Consistent attendance and punctuality; demonstrates accountability.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to notice and address areas that require cleaning or restocking.
