About the Role

My Guardian is seeking dedicated and reliable Catering Assistants to join our team at our aged care facility in Punchbowl. We have full-time and casual positions available across a range of shifts from Monday to Sunday.

As a Catering Assistant, you will play an essential role in supporting our residents by delivering high-quality meals and maintaining a warm, welcoming dining experience.

What You'll Be Doing

• Serving meals and beverages to residents with care and respect
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen and servery
• Following all Food Safety, hygiene, and infection control standards
• Providing friendly and professional customer service to residents and staff
• Assisting the broader catering and hospitality team as needed

Shifts Available

• 7:00am to 2:00pm (Monday to Sunday)
• 2:30pm to 7:30pm (Monday to Sunday)

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in catering or hospitality, ideally within an aged care or healthcare environment
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and safe food handling practices
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with residents
• Good time management and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work morning, afternoon, weekend, and public holiday shifts
