- Contribute to community safety and rehabilitation of people in the justice system

- Earn $97,955 - $111,142 per year (plus super) with yearly increases
Are you a passionate leader with a background in case management or criminal justice? Looking to take the next step in your career while making a difference in your community?
Community Correctional Services (CCS) is a state-wide service that manages individuals on court orders, people who commit serious sex offences on post sentence supervision and people on parole. Evidence suggests that those who re-integrate into the community following a period of imprisonment require transitional support in order to reduce their risk of reoffending. CCS is on the lookout for a motivated and experienced Advanced Practitioner / Court Assessment and Prosecutions (CAPS) Supervisor to join our team.
In this hybrid leadership role, you'll guide and mentor staff across both the case management and CAPS streams-empowering them to deliver high-quality, effective services to individuals navigating the sentencing process. You'll be helping to shape not just individual outcomes, but the broader safety and wellbeing of the community.
What You'll Be Doing- Leading by example-supervising and mentoring staff to build capability and confidence in managing complex cases.
- Managing a diverse caseload-working with high-risk individuals to assess risk, develop tailored case plans, deliver interventions, and support court compliance.
- Driving positive outcomes-helping service users successfully complete their orders while contributing to long-term community safety.
- Fostering collaboration-working closely with justice stakeholders and support services to deliver a seamless through-care model for those transitioning from prison to community-based orders.
You'll bring a mix of frontline experience, emotional intelligence, and leadership skills to the table. Specifically, we're after someone who can:
- Engage effectively with clients, including those with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
- Lead and inspire staff-sharing knowledge, setting expectations, and supporting professional growth.
- Build strong partnerships with a range of stakeholders at all levels
- Stay organised and focused under pressure-juggling competing priorities with confidence.
- Ideally, bring an understanding of court processes and sentencing principles (though not essential).
This is your chance to take on a meaningful role that blends leadership, casework, and strategic thinking. At CCS, you'll be part of a supportive team that values growth, integrity, and community impact. We also offer:
- A fair salary with yearly increases in line with the VPS agreement
- Generous leave entitlements
- Transparent performance framework
- Employee Wellbeing support
- Comprehensive training when you commence and throughout your career
- Secondment and promotion opportunities
