Ludlow Bar & Dining is looking for skilled hospitality workers to join our team as we gear up for a bustling summer on the Yarra.

Part public bar, part contemporary dining room, Ludlow offers the best of both worlds: a refined Australiana menu alongside classic pub favourites, served across a sprawling 600-capacity venue that hums with energy from lunch to late night. With spaces spanning a riverside terrace, elegant dining rooms, and a lively public bar, we're built for atmosphere — and we're looking for people who thrive in it.

We're seeking bartenders and floor staff who bring not only experience, but also professionalism, knowledge, and a genuine love for hospitality.

Floor staff & section waiters — what we're looking for:

  • 4+ years' hospitality experience in restaurants or high-volume venues
  • Experience managing a busy section of up to 8 tables, confidently pacing orders and timing service
  • Solid food and beverage knowledge, with the curiosity to keep learning
  • Attention to detail; from resetting cutlery to anticipating guest needs before they ask
  • Confidence in upselling and guiding guests through menus
  • A warm, professional presence that puts guests at ease
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work seamlessly with kitchen and bar teams

Bartenders — what we're looking for:

  • 4+ years' hospitality experience behind the bar
  • Strong cocktail knowledge (classics + contemporary) and the ability to deliver them with precision and speed
  • A sharp eye for detail; from clean, efficient prep to consistent garnishes
  • Confidence in product knowledge across spirits, wine, and beer
  • Ability to multitask without losing the personal touch with guests
  • A calm, solutions-focused approach during peak service
  • A natural host: you don't just pour drinks, you create atmosphere
