Cahill Transport is one of Australia's leading logistics providers, offering services across interstate and local road freight, warehousing, and wharf operations.

We're currently seeking an experienced MC Driver with forklift experience to join our Afternoon Shift team in Laverton North, working across our yard operations and assisting with local deliveries.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Operating a MC truck for on-site freight movement.
  • Operating counterbalance forklifts for yard loading/unloading.
  • Performing pre-start checks and ensuring vehicle safety compliance.
  • Handling general freight in the yard, including load restraint.
  • Opening/closing tautliner curtains, removing gates and securing loads.
  • Supporting warehouse dispatch and coordination.
  • 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

What You'll Need

  • Current MC Licence with relevant local driving experience.
  • Current LF Forklift Licence.
  • Previous experience in transport, warehousing, or yard environments.
  • Solid understanding of load restraint & Chain of Responsibility (CoR).
  • High attention to detail with a strong safety mindset.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks as required.
