About the Role

Care Integrity Agency is seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to provide respite care for a female client living with dementia. This short-term assignment runs from 3rd September to 14th September, with the possibility of ongoing services.

The role involves supporting the client with daily activities and providing companionship in a safe, respectful, and culturally appropriate way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living.
  • Support with meal preparation and medication prompting.
  • Engage the client in companionship and meaningful activities.
  • Assist with light domestic tasks to maintain a safe home environment.
  • Ensure care is delivered in line with the client's dignity and preferences.

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 2:30 pm
  • Between 3rd September – 14th September 2025

Worker Requirements

  • Must be fluent in Greek (essential).
  • Experience working with clients with dementia preferred.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and WWCC.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Certificate III/IV in Disability, Aged Care, or Individual Support).
  • Manual handling training (desirable).
  • CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Reliable, patient, and empathetic nature.
