The Goodies is a growing hospitality group founded by Nathan & Sali Sasi and Morgan McGlone, known for thoughtful food, generous, warm service, and neighbourhood-driven hospitality. Our venues include Bar Copains, Bessie's & Alma's and Vin-Cenzo's - each with a hat. With continued growth we are now looking for a Sommelier to join our team.

The Role

Working closely with our Group Sommelier, you'll help shape the beverage identity across our venues aligned with the respective venues culinary identity and guest experience.

Our lists feature producers we truly love: Gentle Folk, Radikon, Massolino, Pierre Yves-Colin Morey, Emidio Pepe, Ganevat, Occhipinti, to name a few.

  • Assist in building and evolving distinctive wine lists that reflect each venue's concept and ever-changings lists.
  • Work hands-on across service — guiding guests, opening bottles, sharing the good stuff.
  • Build strong relationships with our trusted importers, suppliers and distributors.
  • Champion education and training through regular team tastings, wine refreshers and monthly group trainings.
  • Keep the cellars tidy, the fridges full, shelves stocked up and standards consistently high.
  • Collaborate on events, pairings, and creative beverage initiatives that keep the guests coming back.
