Sonographer – Advanced Gynaecology

  • Tertiary-level obstetric imaging including first trimester screening, screening for pre eclampsia, fetal anomaly scans, growth and wellbeing assessments (including twin pregnancy)
  • Advanced gynaecological imaging including endometriosis, fertility-related ultrasound, and complex cases
  • Liaising directly with referring clinicians, Genetic councillors and sonologists.
  • Contributing to ongoing quality improvement and case discussion meetings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently perform and interpret complex ultrasound examinations
  • Write high-quality, detailed reports of your own examinations for further review by reporting specialists
  • Participate in case reviews, audits, and peer education
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of viewpoint and other technologies
