About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Sonographer who takes pride in patient care to join our team at our private clinic based in Young, NSW.

Our Young based clinic is one of Alpenglow Radiology's largest clinics. Alpenglow is a radiology service specialising in regional, rural and remote areas, utilising the latest technology to provide a metropolitan level service to our communities.

Our private clinic has been in operation for over 20 years and is an important part of this rural community. We recently moved into a purpose-built medical facility with a new fit out and Philips Epiq 5 equipment for Sonographers.

Our imaging practice at Young is well established, you will be joining our Sonography team who deliver services including MSK, General, Vascular, Small Parts and Obstetrics in one of our 3 ultrasound rooms.

We offer flexible employment options and are open to both Permanent Part Time or Full Time working hours for this role.  To support a move to Young, we offer relocation and rental assistance to support you with a smooth transition to this rural town. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate patient care, prioritising patient welfare and confidentiality in a rural community.
• Perform ultrasound examinations, producing images of the highest diagnostic quality across MSK, General, Vascular, Small Parts and Obstetrics.
• Commit to continuous improvement by maintaining current knowledge and upskilling in new techniques and advancements.

About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Prior experience as a Sonographer in General, Vascular, OB/GYN and/or MSK exams.
• Hold the appropriate qualifications in Sonography and possess current ASAR registration.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to high-quality patient-centred care.
• Full working rights in Australia.
