- Competitive remuneration ranging from $99,938 to $110,271 plus super & annual leave loading.
The ICT Field Services Senior Support Officer is entrusted with delivering high-quality ICT services to a vast customer base across NSW Public Schools and Departmental Offices, in strict accordance with established policies and service levels.
This role encompasses both on-site support at NSW Public Schools and remote support for incident diagnosis and resolution, while actively promoting the adoption of standardized ICT services. The officer engages in the transition and enhancement of these services, escalates issues to the ICT Field Services Support Coordinator, and provides technical guidance to improve staff understanding of ICT usage.
The occupant of the role will maintain accurate records in line with departmental protocols, participate in continuous review processes to identify service enhancement opportunities, and travel to various sites to collaborate with stakeholders with diverse ICT expertise.

About you
- Strong knowledge of ICT system, hardware and software, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively support and communicate with diverse stakeholders, including school staff and departmental personnel.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly and efficiently.
- Proficient in maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with departmental protocols.
- Ability to collaborate with a team autonomously
- Highly organised.
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
- A current and valid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment.
- Current and valid driver's licence (learners' licence is not accepted.)
- Willingness and ability to undertake short-term travel across but not limited to the assigned area of responsibility.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
