Experienced Industrial Sewing Machinist

Full-time role

Capalaba, QLD (Brisbane)

Base salary: from $52,000 + super + 17.5% annual leave loading

We are looking for an experienced Industrial Sewing Machinist to join our Global Sportswear Brand This is a full-time role for someone who's available fulltime and ready to start immediately. We are located in Capalaba and roster hours will be 7am - 3:30pm (Mon-Thu) and 7am - 1:30pm (Fri), total of 38 hours per week.

What will you bring?

  • Experience working with industrial sewing machines in high volume production
  • Ability to set up and operating a sewing machine
  • Experience in straight sewing, overlocking, twin needling, binding and/or flatlock is ideal but not a requirement
  • Experience working with stretch garments is good but not required
  • Install bobbins, needles and guide plates to accommodate different fabric types and create assorted stitching patterns
