Our Client is searching for dedicated and committed Support Workers to join her already incredible team.
Our Client loves spending quality time with her daughter as well as her array of family pets including a dog, cat, budgie and chickens.
The ideal Support Worker for our Client is someone who can read the room and have absolute attention to detail, is honest and reliable and takes initiative.
The role will involve supporting our Client with personal care including bowel therapy, all aspects of manual handling and domestic tasks. Must be experienced in these aspects.
Shifts that are available:
- Monday's 6:00am to 10:00am
- Tuesday to Thursday 6:00am to 9:00am
- Monday to Sunday 7:00pm to 10:00pm
- Saturday & Sunday 8:00am to 12:00pm
QSSS hourly rates are Weekday $35.66, Evening $38.30, Night $39.33, Saturday $48.65, Sunday $62.62, Public Holidays $ sorry, rate not negotiable).
We also support our staff through our EAP service which offers 4 x free counselling sessions where required, as well as discounted physiotherapy sessions at select physio practices while also having the assurance of consistency of Clients you support. You have a comprehensive suite of online learning to support you and face to face learnings.

Your key responsibilities & accountabilities:
- To deliver high quality support to our Clients in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered
- Communicate effectively and collaborate for our Clients needs with our Clients, team & Support Specialist
- Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our Clients needs
- Provide support to our Clients as required
- Have good rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner
- Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required
- Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Clients
- To support our Clients to achieve their NDIS Goals
To be successful you must:
- Have experience in providing bowel therapy to clients or a willingness to learn
- Experienced in Manual Handling
- Resonate with the role description above
- Have a genuine desire to positively change people's lives
- Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia
- Hold or be willing to obtain NDIS worker screening or yellow card
- Hold or be willing to obtain a blue card
- Hold Certificate III in disability or related fields (preferred)
- Experience in bowel care/therapy (required)
