Audio-Visual Technician

Love working with sound, screens, and tech? BJ's Sound and Lighting is one of Southeast Queensland's go-to teams for audio-visual and CCTV solutions. We work with pubs, clubs, and venues to create awesome AV setups that look and sound incredible — and we're looking for new team members to join us

We've got spots open for both experienced AV techs and those keen to learn the ropes. If you're into hands-on work, problem-solving, and bringing events and venues to life with great sound and visuals, this could be the job for you.

What you'll do:

• Help install and maintain AV systems, LED screens, MATV, commercial audio, and CCTV gear.
• Candidates must be able to perform moderate lifting as part of equipment installation and maintenance duties.
• Troubleshoot and fix AV issues on the go.
• Work alongside experienced techs and learn new skills every day.
• Keep safety front of mind and deliver great service to our clients.

What we're looking for:

• Manual driver's licence (or working on it).
• Good attitude, solid work ethic, and willingness to learn.
• Great communication skills and a love for tech.
• Experience in AV or security is a plus, but not essential.
