Job DescriptionDue to an increasing project pipeline, our 'Renewables, Generation & Advisory' team in Brisbane have created an opportunity for a Principal Electrical Engineer with experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
This is a fantastic opportunity to be actively involved in an innovative and highly motivated team of energy professionals and be instrumental in delivering landmark projects throughout Australia and New Zealand.
As a Principal Electrical Engineer within the team, you will:
- Actively participate in and contribute to the winning, management, and delivery of moderate to large-scale projects whilst enhancing client and working relationships.
- You will also inspire and support the development and training of leading-edge technical skills and understand how to practically apply them in ways that add value to AECOM and its clients.
- Provide specialised technical input to studies and design for your area of expertise.
- Mentor junior engineers to enhance AECOM's reputation in the Energy Market.

The qualities that help you thrive:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or equivalent
- Experience in delivering Power Generation designs
- In-depth knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and industry guidelines
- Significant exposure to complex BESS / Renewable Energy Storage projects aligning with Australian Standards.
