Location: Henderson, WA

Employment Type: Casual Ongoing

Pay Rate: $44.48 – $53.00 per hour, depending on experience

Start Date: 27th October 2025

End Day: 23rd December 2025

About the Role

Category 5 Labour Management has an opportunity for 8 experienced Blasters / Painters to join shutdown work at our Henderson site. This role offers an immediate start and the chance to work on high-profile projects with a reputable company.

To be considered, you'll need:

  • Australian citizenship + valid (or obtainable) police clearance
  • Previous experience in abrasive blasting and painting
  • Minimum C Class Driver's Licence
  • Tickets: Elevated Work Platform (HRWL), Working at Heights, Confined Space
  • MSIC – Maritime Security Induction Card
  • Ability to complete online and onsite inductions
  • Pass pre-employment medical & drug & alcohol screening
  • Strong safety focus and ability to work effectively in a team

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Clean and prepare metal surfaces using abrasive blasting
  • Apply industrial coatings, primers, and protective paints
  • Work safely at heights and in confined spaces
  • Operate equipment and tools safely, maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety

Shift Details:

  • 4 x Day shift
  • 4 x Night shift
  • Henderson site only – no FIFO
