About the role:
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you'll play a vital role in building strong relationships with our diverse customer base, including local farmers, primary producers, and trade customers. We're committed to creating a welcoming work environment where you can thrive, and we can accommodate hours that fit around school drop-off and pick-up times.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Performing general administrative tasks (stock control, accurate receival/dispatch of goods)
  • Assisting customers with pricing and product queries
  • Processing counter sales
  • Maintaining safety processes
  • Supporting with phone and reception enquiries
  • Ensuring a friendly, well-presented store environment
  • Assisting with loading/unloading trucks and unpacking deliveries

What we'll love about you:
We welcome jobseekers who are passionate about customer service, have strong attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills. Your love for Australian farming and agriculture is a plus, especially if you have knowledge of animal health and rural merchandise. You'll demonstrate:

  • A current driver's license (forklift ticket is a bonus)
  • Experience in sales environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for long-term customer relationships
  • Problem solving and empathy to resolve issues promptly
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
