Ambrose Construct Group are one of Australia's largest insurance repair specialists. With offices in every state of Australia. We are seeking experienced Estimator/Supervisor's to join our rapidly expanding team in Sydney.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

  • Insurance Building Estimator/Supervisor (Senior or junior experience).
  • Report directly to the Construction Manager.
  • Estimate, Schedule and Supervise trades and repairs.
  • Exceed KPIs by learning how to estimate and Supervise insurance repairs using our industry leading technology.
  • Deliver an exceptionally high level of customer service, through effective written / oral communication with an innate ability to build relationships and resolve conflict.
  • Receive a market competitive salary, vehicle, fuel card, tablet, phone, uniform and industry-based equipment.
  • Insurance industry experience and knowledge of Water Claim Management is advantageous but not essential.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Trade qualified (preferably carpentry).
  • A current White Card.
  • Previous experience in Estimating, Scheduling and Supervising trades and repairs (insurance related is preferred).
  • A working knowledge of the National Construction Code, Building Regulations and Workplace Health and Safety requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Competent computer skills across mobile devices, repair management systems and Microsoft Office suite of programs and an ability to rapidly learn new systems.
  • An aptitude for creating, reading and interpreting scopes of work.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure the highest quality of repair.
  • A proactive nature and be keen to work as a member of a highly successful, KPI driven team.
  • A strong commitment to safety.
