Ventia provides facilities management services to the City of Sydney's portfolio of 251 assets, including libraries, leisure centres, depots, commercial buildings, and iconic sites like Sydney Town Hall and the Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre.

We're hiring two full-time Plumbers to join our growing team, working across Sydney's CBD to deliver maintenance services at a variety of community and commercial facilities.

  • On-call roster approximately every 6 weeks, 10am–6pm. Callouts outside these hours paid at double time (min. 4 hours)

What you'll be doing:

Perform maintenance tasks including inspections, classifications, and repairs across City of Sydney facilitiesCarry out planned maintenance works including RPZ and TMVsRespond to reactive works such as blocked drains, toilets, hot water system repairs, and gutter/downpipe clearingCommunicate effectively with customers and support other trades to ensure high satisfactionComplete administrative tasks including quotes, purchase orders, job dockets, minor estimates, and technical reports

About you:

Certificate III in Plumbing or equivalent trade qualificationRPZ (backflow) and TMV experience preferredExperience in roofing maintenance (waterproofing or flashing) highly regardedValid Driver's Licence and White CardWillingness to undergo a police check
