About Us

AVR Consulting is a valuation and risk consulting practice, based in the Brisbane CBD.

Due to recent growth, we are seeking a cadet valuer or recently qualified valuer to join our team. We are a multi-disciplined property consulting business; however, we specialise in providing valuations for financial reporting and insurance purposes across a wide range of asset classes.

Our clients vary both in size and location. As such, the successful candidate will be expected to travel often, including interstate and occasionally overseas. Our clients also operate across many sectors including government, not for profit, education, health care, mining, power & energy, religious, commercial and industrial sectors. The work we undertake is interesting, diverse, and often unique.

About You

You will hold a bachelor's degree in Property, Valuation, Real Estate, or related field recognised by the Australian Property Institute (API) or be a recently qualified valuer looking to take the next step in your career.

You will also be:

  • Dependable.
  • Capable of working autonomously when required.
  • Willing to serve our clients to a high standard.
  • Collaborative and team focused, especially during busy periods.
  • Positive and confident
  • A good communicator (written and oral).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for financial analysis and Word for report preparation (any GIS experience will be advantageous), and
  • Hold a current Australian driver's licence.

The Role

You will:

  • Assist in the inspection of property and infrastructure assets, and the preparation of valuation reports.
  • Undertake research and analyse market evidence.
  • Manage work tasks to ensure compliance with our service agreements
  • Adhere to quality reporting standards
  • Build and maintain business relationships
