What does the role involve?

• Leadership of a team of people including training, conducting performance reviews, scheduling shifts, managing leave and attendance.
• Ensuring your section of the warehouse runs smoothly to keep stock in our stores for our customers.
• Helping to develop the next generation of leaders in our warehouse by training and coaching team members to be their best.
• Maximising resources efficiency to achieve business goals while controlling costs and minimising losses.
• Delegating tasks efficiently, capitalising on the skills, roles, and interests of your team members to achieve results.
• Maintaining the highest standards of compliance, safety, and cleanliness to create an environment that celebrates and nutures excellence.

Qualifications

What are we looking for?

• Experience in the trades industry or trade qualification
• Forklift licence
• An experienced, inspiring leader who develops and motivates a team to deliver their best every day.
• An independent thinker, comfortable to lead even when no specific guidance or direction is provided.
• A problem-solver who uses initiative to continually improve the quality and efficiency of work.
• A strong communicator who effectively engage teammates at all levels, fostering an inclusive workplace for our diverse teams.
• A team player, ready to step in and support wherever needed.
• A person with exceptional time management skills, capable of handling a heavy workload and prioritising tasks effectively.
• Someone who is consistently professional, fair and responsible, setting a positive tone in the working environment.
