We are now looking for an Application Analysis Specialist,to become a key member of our team. This position is based in Cranbourne, but the incumbent will be required to travel to Tyremax business locations across the ANZ network as required.

The Analyst Specialist is responsible for supporting and optimising applications that underpin Tyremax's E-Commerce and Marketing business.  The CX application portfolio includes, but is not limited to ANZ Websites, Web Services, AWS Middleware API, internal web applications (such as Sales Portal and Customer-facing portals) and their integration to other enterprise solutions. 

Reporting to the ETS Applications Services Manager, you will collaborate within a broader Technology Services ecosystem of peers, business stakeholders, and third-party service providers to deliver key objectives and meet agreed SLAs. You will actively participate in implementing SDLC capabilities, Test Management, IT Service Management, and Reporting tools to support business SLAs that are meaningful and measurable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support the E-Commerce and Marketing application portfolio, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
  • Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues, working independently to identify root causes and recommend solutions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business processes, capture requirements, and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Engage with external vendors and technology partners to design, implement, and optimise solutions.
  • Ensure effective integration of CX applications with enterprise systems.
  • Document business requirements, system workflows, and technical specifications as required.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve application performance and user experience.
  • Ensure solutions comply with enterprise IT standards, policies, and best practices.

Skills and Attributes Required

  • Business Acumen: A solid understanding of end-to-end business processes in E-Commerce, Marketing, and wholesale/distribution environments.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: 3+ years' experience in medium-to-large, customer-facing organisations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: The ability to translate complex technical issues into clear business language and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a proven ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Vendor Management: Demonstrated experience working with third-party vendors and managing external application support partnerships.

Qualifications Required

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • CX Application Support: Minimum 3 years' experience providing application support, enhancement and optimisation within E-Commerce, marketing, or related domains.
  • Exposure to the Wholesale industry is highly regarded.

Technical Knowledge (Desirable)

  • Frontend and backend technologies: (NextJS), JavaScript/TypeScript
  • .NET frameworks
  • Integration methods: API, REST, SOAP, flat files
  • AWS middleware services
