About the role
Bullocks Freightmasters International is seeking a Freight Coordinator to join our team in Fremantle, Western Australia. As a Freight Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless movement of goods and cargo for our clients within the Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics industry.
What you'll be doing
- Coordinate and manage the logistics of freight movements, including booking shipments, liaising with carriers, and tracking deliveries
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients, addressing their freight-related inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all freight activities, ensuring compliance with industry regulations
- Collaborate with the wider team to optimise freight routes, schedules, and processes to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to enhance the company's freight operations
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a freight forwarding or logistics coordination role
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of freight transportation modes, carrier selection, and documentation requirements
- A collaborative team player with a problem-solving mindset
- Familiarity with freight industry regulations and compliance requirements
