Project Support Officer

Role Overview:

Solution Minds Consulting (SMC) is a truly independent consulting firm, leading digital transformations with independent expert advice and specialised client-side project consulting services. SMC has offices throughout Australia and servicing clients in AUS/NZ.

We are seeking Project Support Officer to join our Perth head office with key responsibilities being the support of our frontline SMC resources across all service lines and our internal stakeholders.

What we are looking for:

A star performer with a minimum of four years of experience in working in projects-based environments, preferably for a large consulting company, with an eye for detail.

The role provides flexibility in working from home and can evolve based on the experience you bring to the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Administration:

  • Setting up projects in the billing solution
  • Project billing
  • SMC Resource Schedule maintenance
  • Assisting project leads with project dashboards and reconciliations
  • Project administration in general
  • Manage internal close out activities

Project Support:

  • MS Teams setups and maintenance
  • SharePoint and file structure maintenance
  • Project Analysis and reporting
  • General assistance as required by the delivery teams

Other Support:

  • General office administration support as required
  • System administration
  • Management of helpdesk issues resolution (including level 1 support)
  • Managing task lists
  • Office 365 setups (new users, licensing, maintenance)
  • Opportunity to work on automations and workflows

Skills Required (mandatory):

  • Experience in revieing proposals and service estimators to facilitate project setups
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills both in written and spoken English
  • ·Ability to work independently
  • Experience in project centric environments either supporting internal teams and/or external client facing
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Analytical thinking (analysing project data and schedules for inconsistencies and conflicts etc)

Skills Required (desirable):

  • Technology aware and good troubleshooting capabilities (Office 365 administration beneficial)
  • Experience in reporting environments using Power BI
  • Helpdesk experience in terms of issues triage and management
  • Experience in environments using SharePoint
