Payroll and Remuneration Specialist

We're seeking an experienced Payroll & Remuneration Specialist to take ownership of complex remuneration frameworks and payment processes for a leading healthcare organisation.

This role sits at the intersection of payroll, finance, and operations, and plays a key part in ensuring medical specialists are paid accurately, fairly, and on time. You'll oversee the end-to-end remuneration process, manage complex pay models, and partner closely with Finance, Payroll, and operational leaders to maintain accuracy, compliance, and transparency.

What you'll do

• Oversee and coordinate the medical remuneration cycle, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
• Collaborate with Finance and Payroll to streamline payment processes and enhance data accuracy.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, driving automation and reporting efficiency.
• Support financial modelling for new and renegotiated medical contracts, including incentive structures.
• Provide insights and advice on remuneration frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Act as the trusted point of contact for remuneration queries or escalations.
• Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen consistency and transparency.

What you'll bring

• Degree-qualified in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in complex payroll or remuneration environments, ideally within healthcare or professional services.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders, including medical professionals.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to process accuracy.
• Experience in remuneration system implementation, automation, or data integration highly regarded.
