Palram Australia is a leading global manufacturing company of polycarbonate products.

An exciting opportunity exists for a Warehouse Storeperson to join our team, located in Derrimut.

This is a casual role working full-time hours, Monday to Friday, right through to the Christmas period

We are looking for someone to start immediately. A forklift license is essential.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Warehouse Storeperson – Palram Australia Pty Ltd

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Picking and packing sales orders
  • Forklift operation
  • Loading and unloading trucks
  • Wrapping and strapping pallets/products
  • Operation of electric and manual tools
  • Assist other staff with general warehouse tasks
  • Following and adhering to all operational health and safety requirements
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse

Essential requirements:

  • Previous warehouse experience with a sound understanding of warehouse operations
  • Forklift license with experience lifting oversized items
  • Must be able to safely lift and carry heavy items of up to 25kgs
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting and standing for extended periods
  • Comfortable operating warehouse equipment such as an electric strapper, circular saw and bench saw

  • High attention to detail with a strong emphasis on accuracy
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to work collaboratively with other warehouse staff and other departments
  • Proactive approach to identifying and resolving any issues or problems that may arise
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
