Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage with children enrolled in the OSHC program, ensuring their safety, wellbeing and enjoyment.
- Assist in delivering a high‑quality program of activities (arts & crafts, cooking, outdoor play, quiet play, games)
- Collaborate with team members to plan, implement and evaluate programming for before school, after school and vacation care sessions.
- Provide a welcoming, inclusive environment for children, families and staff.
- Maintain and ensure compliance with service policies, regulatory requirements and our centre's rules: "Be Respectful. Be Responsible. Be Safe."
- Maintain cleanliness, tidiness and organisation of the OSHC space and resources.
- Communicate effectively with families, children and team members.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Current Blue Card (Queensland Working with Children Check) or eligibility to obtain one
- Ability to supervise, engage and support school‑aged children.
- Flexibility to work various shifts (before school, after school, vacation care)
