Early Years Lead Educator

Are you a versatile, enthusiastic early‑childhood professional who thrives on variety and enjoys working across age groups? We are seeking an All‑Rounder Room Floater to join our dedicated team and step into various rooms when needed—from babies through toddlers to Kindy. You'll cover team breaks, assist in different rooms, support educators and ensure continuity of care and learning across our centre.
What You'll Do- Move flexibly between rooms to support daily operations and maintain a high‑quality program.
- Assist lead educators with implementing engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
- Provide a warm, nurturing presence for children and build trusting relationships with families.
- Ensure the environment remains safe, clean, stimulating and professionally maintained.
- Support the team: modelling best practice, contributing ideas, adapting to different age groups and routines.
- Certificate III, Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education & Care (or working towards).
- Current Working With Children Check, First Aid/CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma training (or willingness to obtain).
- Flexibility, adaptability and a "can‑do" attitude — comfortable moving between different age groups and routines.
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standards (NQS) and current best practice.
- A warm, calm, professional and nurturing presence — someone children and families feel safe with and educators enjoy working with.
- Excellent communication skills, teamwork, and a willingness to learn and grow.
- Just 3 learning rooms with smaller numbers, giving you the time and space to form genuine connections and provide truly meaningful learning experiences.
