We're seeking an experienced Regulation, Risk & Compliance Manager to lead our compliance and regulatory functions within Australia's dynamic energy retail sector. You'll ensure full adherence to laws, codes, and licence conditions across AER, AEMO, and state-based frameworks, while fostering a strong culture of integrity and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee regulatory and compliance programs across the business.
• Maintain retailer authorisation and ensure compliance with NEM and NECF obligations.
• Liaise with regulators (AER, AEMO, Ombudsman schemes) and manage audits, reports, and submissions.
• Lead compliance risk assessments, training, and policy governance.
• Support risk management activities across wholesale and retail operations.
About You:
• Degree in Law, Business, Risk, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or risk management (energy/utilities preferred).
• Strong grasp of AER, AEMO, and energy compliance frameworks.
• Skilled communicator with proven stakeholder engagement experience.
