Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced
Senior Solution Architect – Security
to support a major Cyber Uplift Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing conceptual and high-level solution designs, ensuring alignment with enterprise cyber strategies, standards, and reference architectures. This role requires strong architectural expertise across Identity, Cyber Security, and Data Classification domains, with the ability to collaborate across business and technology teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide architectural direction and guidance for the design and implementation of security solutions under the Cyber Uplift Program
  • Develop conceptual, logical, and high-level solution designs that align with strategic cyber reference architectures and enterprise standards
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of cyber security architecture artefacts, including roadmaps, patterns, blueprints, and compliance documentation
  • Conduct research and horizon scanning to identify emerging cyber security trends and relevant technologies
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure security controls are effectively integrated into solutions and systems
  • Lead and contribute to architectural governance forums and design assurance reviews
  • Provide expert input into designs, integrations, and operating models developed by other architects
  • Support solution evaluation, selection, and onboarding of new cyber technologies
  • Assist in refining cyber processes, improving automation, and reducing inefficiencies in control deployment
  • Provide architectural assurance during implementation to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and reference architectures

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum
    8–10 years' experience
    in IT architecture, including substantial experience in
    Cyber Security and Identity domains
  • Strong understanding of
    Identity and Access Management (IAM)
    ,
    Data Classification
    , and
    Security Control Frameworks
  • Experience with
    Okta
    and
    Microsoft security technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain enterprise-level reference architectures and technology roadmaps
  • Proven experience in documenting and communicating conceptual and high-level solution designs
  • Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks and methodologies
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills
  • Prior experience within
    large-scale government, insurance, or financial services environments
    (highly regarded)
