About the Role
Positions are permanent full time, working Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm for a 35 hour week. The positions work in the Corporate Information Team as part of the Information Services Department providing critical support across the organisations corporate systems.

Reporting directly to the Corporate Information Systems Manager, the Information Systems Partner is responsible for proactively working across multiple directorates to coordinate the develop, implement and administer user support and access management to Council's corporate business systems. This includes:

  • Proactively manage corporate system/s development, administration, and support needs of multiple directorates.
  • Work in a team environment, investigate, analyse, and prioritise assigned incidents and service requests for Council business systems. Action requests, resolve problems, manage internal and external service providers, and record all actions.
  • Write accurate technical reports for data analysis using various tools collating data across an organisation.
  • Drive the development and enhancement of systems ensuring key stakeholder involvement through extensive knowledge of system configuration (i.e system parameters, workflow/business process automation, form building, T-scripts etc).
  • Provide specialist advice regarding administration functions for the Council's key corporate systems.
  • Allocate and maintain employee access to business systems in appropriate time frames.

The advertised salary is based on the grade of the position, comprising of 4 steps within the range shown. The starting salary is at Step 1 within the grade. Progression through the salary steps shall be based upon the achievement of performance objectives relating to the position.


About You
To be successful in the position, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business Systems or an Information Technology related field or demonstrated experience in similar system support, implementation, or development role.
  • Class C Driver's Licence.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to communicate with staff effectively across all organisational levels and roles.

We are looking for a team-oriented individual with excellent communication and organisational skills, who can build strong business relationships, deliver high-quality customer service, and develop standardised processes for consistent quality outcomes.
