Your new role:

As a Senior Cancer Pharmacist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based pharmacy services within a highly collaborative cancer care environment. You'll act as a clinical reference point within the team, contribute to service development, and support the growth of junior staff while maintaining a strong patient-centred focus.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and contribute to the development of clinical protocols, quality initiatives, and research activities that enhance cancer pharmacy services.
  • Deliver timely assessments, interventions and evaluations within an interprofessional team, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  • Oversee and support less experienced pharmacists, students, and Allied Health Assistants, fostering ongoing learning and excellence in practice.

You are a skilled, motivated clinician who brings strong clinical knowledge, initiative, and a passion for improving cancer care. You thrive in a collaborative environment, communicate effectively, and are committed to ongoing professional growth.

You will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience delivering complex clinical pharmacy services, ideally within cancer pharmacy.
  • Strong clinical judgement with the ability to work autonomously while contributing to team-based care.
  • High-level communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience contributing to quality improvement, research, or service development initiatives.
