About the opportunity

There are currently four (4) permanent – full time positions available for immediate filling.

We are seeking
Senior Finance Business Partners
to join our Finance team and provide high-level financial management and expert strategic advice across the Department. As a trusted advisor to business areas, you will provide guidance on budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting to support sound decision-making and effective resource management. You will play a key role in monitoring financial performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and delivering timely, accurate financial information that drives results. As a senior member of the Finance team, you will also assist with key elements of the Department's budget strategy and planning processes, including the annual estimates cycle and Royalties for Regions program, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and compliance with financial governance requirements.

We are looking for individuals with:

  • Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting to support strategic decision-making and optimise resource allocation.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial frameworks to ensure compliance.
  • High-level proficiency in ERP systems and data analytics tools to deliver accurate, timely reporting and actionable insights that enhance performance.
