MPU Operator

About the Position

We are actively seeking an experiencedMPU Operator to join our team in the Blackwater / Emerald region.

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will join our established team, working a 7/7 day shift only (12hr) roster.

Core accountabilities include:

• Safe and efficient operation of our Mobile Processing Units (MPUs)
• Carry out pre-starts
• Regularly carry out workplace Take 5's
• Attend toolbox discussions
• Contribute to a respectful and inclusive work environment

About you

• Experience in operating MPUs or MMUs in an open cut environment essential
• Demonstrated experience working in the drill & blast industry
• Unwavering commitment to safety and efficiency
• Ability to work well within a team and unsupervised
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

What you need

• Current HR licence
• QLD Security Clearance for handling explosives
• Current QLD Coal Board Medical (or willing to obtain)
• Standard 11 (or willing to obtain)
• National Police Clearance (Less than 3 months old or willing to obtain)
• Relevant RII competencies (RIIBLA201A & RIIBLA203A) highly regarded
• Trainer and assessor qualifications highly advantageous
