About the Positions
Due to continuous growth and internal progression, we are actively seeking a multi-skilledShotfirers to join our teams at the Gregory or Jellinbah mine sites
Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will join our established team and act as a senior member, working a 7/7 day shift only(12hr) roster.

Core accountabilities include:
- Safe and efficient surface shotfiring operations
- Safe and efficient operation of our Mobile Processing Units (MPUs) - training provided
- Carry out pre-starts
- Regularly carry out workplace Take 5's
- Attend toolbox discussions
- Contribute to a respectful and inclusive work environment
About you
- Experience in shotfiring operations in an open cut environment essential
- Experience in operating MPU's in an open cut environment (desirable)
- Demonstrated experience working in the drill & blast industry
- Experience using both Non-Electric and Electronic Blasting Systems (desirable)
- Unwavering commitment to safety and efficiency
- Ability to work well within a team and unsupervised
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
What you need
- Current HR licence highly desired - open manual's licence essential
- QLD Shotfirer's ticket highly desired
- QLD Security Clearance for handling explosives
- Current QLD Coal Board Medical (or willing to obtain)
- Standard 11 (or willing to obtain)
- National Police Clearance (Less than 3 months old or willing to obtain)
- Relevant RII competencies (RIIBLA201A & RIIBLA203A) highly regarded
- Trainer and assessor qualifications highly advantageous
