We are a concrete cutting company operating in the construction and maintenance sector. This role is based in our Melbourne Office in Altona North and is part-time, 2-3 days per week.

We require the services of a part time bookkeeper to manage the financial functions of our business which comprises 2 separate entities. We prefer someone who will work exclusively for our businesses and not have other employment elsewhere concurrently. The successful candidate should have at least 3 years bookkeeping experience and have a good knowledge of Xero. Construction industry experience is an advantage. Full training will be provided and we offer a competitive salary for the right person.

Qualifications & experience

  • 3 years minimum book keeping experience

  • Working with multiple entities and inter-company transactions

  • BAS experience

  • Payroll experience

  • Xero experience essential

  • Accurate data entry

  • Construction industry experience preferred (but not essential)

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Preparation and processing of weekly payroll

  • Accounts Receivable/Invoicing and debt collection

  • Preparation of quarterly BAS

  • Weekly cashflow reporting

  • Bank reconciliations

  • Accounts payable/EOM creditor payments

  • Good communication skills and ability to work autonomously

  • Monthly compliances/ Super/Incolink/Co-Invest
