Tennis Factory is one of the top tennis coaching businesses in Australia with coaching awards from Tennis Australia, Tennis West and the WA Department of Sport & Rec. We run tennis coaching programs at 3 different clubs in Perth – Onslow Park TC, Shenton Park, East Fremantle LTC & Peppermint Grove TC.
We service over 1300 players weekly - our clientele are as young as 3 years of age right through to retirees, from beginner level to junior National standard.
We have a combined staff of 30-35 with most of them being Tennis Coaches with the support of Admin and Accounts staff.
About the role
You will be responsible for the smooth running of our Administration (you are the glue that keeps our operations running smoothly). You have an Admin Assistant who reports to you (5 day/30hr) and you will work with our Accounts Manager and HR Manager.
No day will be the same, so the ability to think for yourself and use your initiative are crucial. This is a busy role, and the position requires someone who is motivated, organised, has a high degree of attention to detail and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
There are numerous day-to-day tasks including attending to customer queries, marketing, financial and administrative duties, website management and HR. The main duties include:
· Management of our booking system
· Programming & scheduling
· Website updates and management
· HR – staff onboarding and management of staff insurances, police checks etc
· Liaising with customers and staff
· Managing office procedures and Sharepoint directory
· Organising staff functions and other events
· Shopfront (club) display
· Answering telephone calls and emails
· Reports – excel data
· Marketing – newsletter, social media, print and digital
· Leads & Sales

· The position is for 4-5 days per week hours)
· The position will be mainly based in Floreat; however you may also be required to work from our club locations depending on where the Director is working that day.

Skills & Experience
We are looking for someone with experience, with a varied skillset who can turn their hand from customer enquiries to marketing to general admin duties to help manage our customers and our staff. The following skills are essential:
· A minimum of 3-5 years of office management or administration experience is required
· Knowledge of MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel & Publisher
· Knowledge of Office 365 Sharepoint (including Teams, Forms & Quiz Apps)
· Data management (Excel) & mail merge (Outlook & Word)
· Knowledge of WordPress
· Ability to work autonomously and multi-task
· Excellent organisation and problem-solving skills
· Proficiency in English (written and oral)
· Excellent verbal & communication skills
· Valid Australian Drivers Licence & vehicle (preferred)
· Australian work rights are required for this position
Additional skills looked at favourably to the position are
· Tertiary education
· Broad knowledge of IT programs that could help the business improve its operations
· Previous experience with school manager systems (we use InTennis)
· Bookkeeping/Accounts experience – XERO
· Creative flair to assist in marketing/social media
