Transport Operator

We currently have an opportunity for a Transport Operator. Join our Base and Estate Management team and play a key role in delivery of transport services to the Duntroon and other Defence basis located in the ACT. Reporting to Transport Coordinator you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.

What You'll Do

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

• Maintain a safe workplace and environment
• Ensure a safe driving service to defence and civilian customers
• Comply with State Transport Regulations, Defence Road Transport Manual and other applicable Defence Documents
• Delivery of drivers and vehicles services to support Defence Transport requirements and management of Defence fleet of vehicles
• Operating company public passenger vehicles

What You'll Bring

• Must be able to gain an understanding of Defence Transport requirement
• Excellent customer relations and interpersonal communications skills
• Must be able to work unsupervised and in a small team
• Must be flexible with working hours
• Must have ACT C-Class Drivers Licence
• Must be Australian Citizen for Baseline Security Clearance
