We are currently looking to add to our experienced and friendly team with a position available for an experienced and qualified Sheetmetal Tradesperson to be based in our state-of-the-art warehouse in Parkinson.

The position is available immediately for the right applicant. Excellent wage rate - negotiated dependent upon experience

Based in Parkinson Queensland, and operating out of the largest of its kind, state of the art custom built warehouse, for over 30 years F & M Fabricators have worked hard to become the leading manufacturer of specialised roofing accessories in the country.

About the role:

  • Reading and drawing up of plans.
  • Cutting of materials.
  • Communication and coordination with management.
  • Operation of machinery and equipment.
  • Working independently as well as within a team.
  • Following work health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Quality assurance.
  • Day and Night shifts available

Who we are looking for:

  • Fully trade qualified tradesperson
  • Proven experience with sheet metal fabrication.
  • Experience in the manufacturing environment is beneficial
  • Ability to work to deadlines and available for overtime when required.
  • Ability to read, draw up and interpret plans and specifications.
  • Have a strong understanding of adherence to WHS requirements.
  • Ability to work cohesively as a team with excellent communication skills
  • Willing to learn
  • Honest, reliable and punctual
  • Permission to work in Australia
