Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Building Supervisor, based in Darwin, NT. The Building Supervisor will oversee construction projects to ensure they are completed on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with quality standards. The responsibilities include managing construction teams, coordinating subcontractors, monitoring project timelines, maintaining safety and compliance standards, and resolving any on-site challenges. The Building Supervisor will also act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee construction processes and manage timelines
  • Experience in supervising on-site teams and coordinating subcontractors
  • Knowledge of construction safety standards, compliance requirements, and quality assurance
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills to liaise with clients, stakeholders, and team members
  • Familiarity with budgeting and cost control in construction projects
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Proven leadership skills and a track record of delivering successful construction projects
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field
  • Experience in residential construction is highly desirable
  • Driver's license, relevant certifications, and ability to work on-site in Darwin, NT
