Who we're looking for:

We are looking for an experienced Foreman/Supervisor to join our high calibre team in delivering a portfolio of development and infrastructure projects across Queensland & Northern Territory.

This role will be working on our Darwin Ship Lift project in East Arm and depending on your experience will be managing either the Electrical or Fabrication/welding packages of works.

This role will be based on our Darwin Ship Lift project in East Arm, where you will be responsible for managing either the electrical or fabrication/welding packages of work, depending on your trade background and experience.

As an experienced Supervisor, you will work collaboratively with the General Foreman to achieve optimum productivity and program outcomes. You will use your proven leadership and communication skills to effectively build relationships across all levels of our projects, including subcontractors. You will lead by example, motivating others and creating a high-performing environment where teamwork ensures delivery of exceptional quality outcomes on time, while maintaining a safe working environment at all times.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with:

  • Relevant trade Qualifications in Electrical (Cert III or higher) or Fabrication/Welding (Cert III in Engineering - Fabrication or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience on major civil, marine or infrastructure projects
  • Excellent attitude towards health, safety, environmental and quality outcomes, embedding this commitment in everything you do
  • Motivation to achieve value-for-money results to program.

You may also have the following additional desirable skills:

  • Experience managing structural steel or complex electrical packages on major infrastructure projects
  • Previous experience in an onshore/offshore marine related construction environment
