Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated retail manager lead our day-to-day operations across two sites at Helensvale and Runaway Bay. This role involves managing team performance, ensuring compliance, maintaining stock levels, and fostering a strong customer-centric culture.

Operational Locations:

  1. Pizza Hut Helensvale – 9 Sir John Overal Drive Helensvale

  2. Pizza Hut Runaway Bay - 390 oxley Drive Runaway Bay

Key Responsibilities of the role:

  • Operational Management

  • Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with Pizza Hut's brand standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage inventory levels and place orders for food, supplies, and equipment as required.
  • Ensure health and safety, food hygiene, and cleanliness standards are met.

## Staff Management

  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise team members (kitchen staff, delivery drivers, front-of-house, etc.).
  • Monitor staff performance and provide coaching or disciplinary actions when needed.
  • Foster a positive work environment and ensure high staff morale and motivation.

## Customer Service

  • Ensure excellent customer service is delivered at all times.
  • Handle customer complaints or issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Implement strategies to increase customer satisfaction and repeat business.

## Financial Management

  • Monitor daily sales, cash flow, and profitability.
  • Manage labor and food costs within budgeted targets.
  • Prepare and analyze sales reports, identify trends, and implement improvement plans.

## Marketing & Sales

  • Support local store marketing campaigns and promotions.
  • Drive sales targets through upselling, suggestive selling, and service excellence.
  • Analyze customer feedback and competitor activity to improve performance.

## Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations (labor laws, health codes, etc.).
  • Maintain proper documentation and reporting for audits and inspections.
  • Report to area/district managers and corporate on store performance metrics.
