The Bendigo Health Clinical Workforce - HSA Bank is essential in supporting clinical inpatient units during periods of roster shortfalls, unplanned vacancies, and 1:1 patient observation shifts. The HSA Bank provides staff with the flexibility to accept shifts based on their availability and allocated unit suitability.

To maintain active membership in the Clinical Workforce - Bank, staff are required to work a minimum of two shifts per month across a 24-hour roster (Day: 0700–1500, Evening: 1500–2200, Night: 2200–0700). Bank activity is monitored monthly, and staff who are not active will be contacted.

The Health Services Assistant (HSA) role at Bendigo Health involves supporting Registered and Enrolled Nurses during 1:1 patient observation shifts, as well as performing non-nursing duties that contribute to the smooth operation of ward environments.

Requirements:

• Completion of 1 year of a health-related discipline or a Certificate III in Health Services Assistance
• Interest in working in Health Care inpatient units
• Availability for flexible working arrangements across a 24-hour roster
