About the Role

Shake & Stir Theatre Co is seeking a talented, proactive Sales & Bookings Coordinator to join our team in our South Brisbane HQ. This pivotal role leads the sales and bookings of all in-school programs, including performances, workshops, and engagement opportunities, across multiple touring teams.

We're looking for someone who's motivated by targets and relationships, who thrives in a fast-paced environment, and who's passionate about connecting educators and students with world-class theatre experiences.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Drive sales of all in-school programs to primary and secondary schools across Queensland.
  • Manage all incoming inquiries and bookings via phone, email, and online channels, providing a seamless and professional customer experience.
  • Become an expert on shake & stir's programs, selling the excitement and impact of high-quality theatre to educators.
  • Grow and maintain our school database, developing new leads and nurturing existing relationships.
  • Coordinate touring calendars, ensuring all bookings and logistics are up to date and accurate.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and communication to teachers and school staff.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative and effective sales campaigns.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, education conferences, and networking events.
  • Support venue hire coordination and general administrative needs as required.

Who We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in sales or customer service, ideally within the arts, education, or events industries.
  • A natural communicator with exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Confident using CRM systems (experience with data management is a plus).
  • A genuine interest in the performing arts and a drive to contribute to the company's growth.
  • Experience working with schools or educators is desirable, but not essential.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-focused - you love meeting goals and exceeding expectations.
