VN Wrap and Roll is a vibrant and growing bakery specializing in delicious Vietnamese-inspired baked goods and wraps. We are committed to providing high-quality products and exceptional customer service in a welcoming atmosphere.
Position Summary:
The Bakery Retail Manager is responsible for the overall operation and success of the VN Wrap and Roll store in Kensington. This includes managing all aspects of the retail operation, from product selection and inventory control to staff management and customer service. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and experienced retail professional with a passion for food and a strong understanding of bakery operations.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks Include:
- Product & Inventory Management: Determining the optimal product mix to meet customer demand, maintaining appropriate stock levels, and ensuring product freshness.
- Purchasing & Pricing: Formulating and implementing purchasing policies to secure high-quality ingredients at competitive prices, and setting prices to maximize profitability.
- Marketing & Promotion: Developing and executing marketing strategies to promote the establishment's goods and services, including advertising and promotional campaigns.
- Customer Service & Sales: Providing excellent customer service, selling goods and services to customers, and offering expert advice on product use and selection.
- Financial Management: Maintaining accurate records of stock levels and financial transactions, and undertaking budgeting for the establishment to ensure financial stability.
- Staff Management: Controlling the selection, training, and supervision of staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensuring strict compliance with all occupational health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment for staff and customers.
- Operational Excellence: Continuously seeking ways to improve operational efficiency and enhance the customer experience.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably within a bakery or food service environment.
- Strong understanding of bakery operations, including product knowledge and inventory management.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Strong financial management and budgeting skills.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
