About the Role

As a Manager- Market Data Product Onboarding at CommBank, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality, timely, and accurate market data across financial instruments. Your role will support trading, risk management, and regulatory compliance by enhancing onboarding processes and ensuring operational efficiency. You'll work closely with stakeholders to improve client experience and support strategic initiatives across market data services.

This is 12-month maximum term role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver validated market data to meet business needs and regulatory standards.
  • Support product onboarding activities, ensuring efficiency and user satisfaction.
  • Maintain high-quality data sets through cleansing and validation processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align on delivery timelines and manage escalations.
  • Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives within onboarding workflows.
  • Apply practical experience with market data curves to support decision-making and manage market risk.

What We're Looking For

  • Intermediate proficiency in Python and a statistical background to resolve data anomalies.
  • Solid understanding of market data systems and vendors (e.g., Bloomberg, LSEG).
  • Experience in data cleansing, quality assurance, and distribution models.
  • Familiarity with real-time and historical data sourcing.
  • Ability to onboard new market data products across asset classes including equities, fixed income, FX, derivatives, and commodities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
